Hi there - my name is Sergey Berezin, and I am a beginning free-lancer film / movie maker, just starting on this bumpy and adventurous path (after getting bored by success in my previous career as a computer scientist).

I am still in the process of finding and defining what the hell I’m here to do, and I’ll be updating this page as the time goes. But for now - here I am, standing in awe and utter confusion before the windy and hilly road ahead, wondering what will be revealed to me further down the road, and whether I can make it far enough to find out…

What I Do

My greatest passion is in making video of (almost) any kind. I have been shooting home movies on 8mm and Super8 film since as early as I could physically hold the camera - starting around elementary school - and I’ve been playing with video, photo and audio ever since.

Since 2006, I’ve been recording and producing podcasts with the Radical Change Group, International - a small not-for-profit group that I co-founded with two more friends of mine. We have been publishing weekly podcasts since September 2007 - for over a year now, creating over 65 episodes (at the time of writing), and counting.

Incidentally, I’ve also been doing some web design (Dreamweaver, Wordpress, HTML, PHP, MySQL - the list goes on) - the Radical Change Group, my own personal website, and this very web page - are all the example designs done and supported by truly yours.

In my science days, I’ve mastered the art of slide shows, and now I’m doing them in video as well.

And, of course, I’ve been having fun shooting live video of animals and people - something I enjoy most of all.

While I will consider any reasonable offer for hire, my most serious commitment is to producing value that improves the quality of life to all the people, and hurts none (or as few as humanly possible). Don’t be surprised if I turn town a lucrative offer for making a commercial that cheats people out of their money. But if you need my help to do good (at my own discretion, of course ) - be my guest!
